When will #TeaTime return?
I’ve been asking myself the same thing.
On that note, I’m amazed how corporate moms spring right back to their workaday routines after baby arrives. My next tea time is dedicated to you working moms, and I hope you take that time for yourself.
Have you been keeping your Tea Time while I’ve been “away”? If not, consider this a reminder to be gentle with yourself by taking pause, however...
When will #TeaTime return? I’ve been asking myself the same thing.
Have you been keeping your Tea Time while I’ve been “away”? If not, consider this a reminder to be gentle with yourself by taking pause, however briefly, even in your busy-ness, to check in and take a look around.
You could do it in ONE BREATH.
Looking forward to hearing about your tea time!

Wish you weren’t so “Grinch-y” this time of year?
I understand. Despite being the “Season of Good Cheer,” holiday stress usually erodes quickly at the best reflection of us, leaving us looking like meanies and/or feeling depleted.
But there IS another way to celebrate the holidays! Join me this Tuesday at 1:30PM PT / 4:30PM ET, when I talk with guest Frannie Walsh...

The Wisdom of Afternoon Tea →
Here’s an article I wrote for a blog I’m partnered with, Circles of Connection.
I only drink herbal tea, and the occasional white tea, myself. But Tea Time (or the traditional afternoon break, as it were) is not about the tea, but about the break - and better still, about connecting over break time.
Consider joining the Tea Time movement on Tues., Sept. 14!

The Harder You Work... →
Bob Parsons, the president of GoDaddy.com, is, for the most part an ass. But he’s got a very good point, as well as some helpful tips, in this episode of his video blog about the INVERSE (or more like ADVERSE) relationship between “hard work” and “productivity.”
Enjoy.
She's ALIVE!!! (An update)
These past few weeks have been my gradual re-introduction to life back on-the-grid and in society. (Interestingly, life off-the-grid is where all the blog fodder really is. More on this in the near future.)
If you’re in the Phoenix area and with to verify my vitality by checking my pulse or my growing mama-belly, or preferably, by sharing in a glass of iced tea and some conversation,...

A post from my other blog, Pilot Your Passion, that I wanted to share with you.
More than a time issue or an attention issue, chronic lateness is a different kind of relationship issue.

Stop stalling now! →
Have you or someone you know stalled out on their big dream? Have you or someone you know stopped believing in their special gift or talent? Do you think the world would be a different place if those gifts and talents were used?
If so, you’re not alone. The “grown-up world” has trained us to put those things aside and live responsibly. And we wouldn’t live in the blessed...

Power used for evil...
We all are gifted with power.
When we bless it within us as a propelling, life-giving, energizing force, we are elevated, we rise, and we bless others. When we curse it or are bullied into hiding it or are ashamed by it, after years poisoning ourselves with thoughts of emptiness and alientation, we are compelled to convince others of the same.
Those who have lost or squandered their gift will...

Why We Don't Say "No" More Often
(You can click the “Play” button in the player below to listen to the audio. Or read the transcribed text below the player.)
Have you caught yourself overwhelmed, drained, or feeling more obligated than motivated to help others?
Oftentimes, when we get to this point, we ask ourselves, “How did I ever get to this??”
Just as often, we can trace back our getting to this breaking...
What Happens When You Don't Get Your Way?
numbnomore:
As I was growing up I was taught not to expect anything. I was taught that I wasn’t worthy of receiving. And I was taught that I may as well give up hoping that it would ever change. Screw that.
I am learning to ask for what I need. I get frustrated when other people don’t cooperate with me on this. When I muster up the courage to put a voice to my needs it’s a pretty big deal...

New Year's Reflections: A reader comment
Debbie had a comment about the New Year’s Reflections.
If we reflect that mean’s we have to think right?
Just kidding I think this is such a great idea, because we alway’s make plan’s. But, if there in front of you in black & white. Some how that make’s them more realistic. I certainly think so. That way you can’t just forget them so easy and push them to...
